Saint Patrick's Day is also known as St. Paddy's Day, This is an annual feast day celebrated for Saint Patrick (circa AD 385-461), a patron saints of Ireland, and This feasta is celebrated on 17th of March every year. St. Patrick's Day is commonly a holy day of obligation for Roman Catholics in Ireland. The day has become national holiday of Ireland now a days and it is a bank and public holiday in the Republic of Ireland/ Northern Ireland . This is also celebrated as a public holiday in Montserrat, Canada and widely celebrated as an non official holiday in United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Argentina and New Zealand. Christians and non-Christians both celebrate this feasta in a secular way of the holiday by wearing green clothes, eating green foods/ Irish food, imbibing Irish drink (like Irish stout, Irish Whiskey or Irish Cream) and attending parades. This day is celebrated in Catholic Church as a religious holiday in Ireland.
